Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

i have been up in the san francisco bay area, well east bay to be exact so i havent been able to post for a few days. PLEASE check out the UC BERKELEY anti vivisection group. they are an amazing group of activists. Ill make it easy for you. Here is the contact info.stop uc berkeley vivisection myspace
AND.non myspace Site

We had a good day full of home demonstrations of vivisector houses. it was pouring rain and freezing cold, but that didnt stop us. cops and undercover were on our tail the entire time and they got enough video footage of us to make a movie out of it.

the bay area has SO much good food. I have a list of places I have to eat at while I am here. You will see a few of them in the end of the ‘tour’ video.Herbivore
.The Breakroom Cafe. those are a couple of the yummy eats. this trip has also been full of going into stores, stealing as much as we can, then going home and making really good food. nothing like homemade pad thai and grape juice. oh and hello kitty waffles. youll see those in the tour video too.

oh. and ride bikes. do you ride bikes yet? ride bikes with friends. ride bikes by yourself. just go and ride a fucking bike. its SO much fun and its good exercise. it makes you feel better, trust me.

veganTHIS wants your art

Friday, January 25th, 2008

let your voice be heard. veganTHIS wants your vT art. We have a veganTHIS art gallery.. on the new site. Check it out. We would love to put more art up. As long as you include veganTHIS.org in the piece, it can go up. The only guidelines for the art is that it has to be vegan/animal rights related. militant or non militant…..if you are doing street art in the name of veganTHIS please do not leave a tag name. this is for your own safety. when you send me the picture in a message, dont take credit for it. tell me that you found it. assume that your message to me is being read by the cops/fbi, because it most likley is…..spread the message….-vT

Making sacrifices and doing what it takes

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

HLS is on it’s knees, in great debt, and begging for state protection. We are so very close to seeing one of the world’s largest animal abusers take it’s dying breath.

Vivisection in general is taking steps down the path towards extinction. With legislation being passed worldwide banning certain animal tests, the continued shift in public opinion towards “cruelty free” products, the rise of more economically sound options to animal testing, having their dirty secrets aired over and over again in the media, and expensive sabotage on the rise the labs of torture, greed, and murder will see their last days soon.

We have a historic opportunity to strike the last few effective blows that will bring HLS and vivisection in general to an end.

It can happen.
We need to push.
Let’s fucking push.

How about?
Turnout at demos reaching 100 people…
More direct action communiqués coming into the press offices…
Outreach tables everywhere…

There is something that you can do.

Be safe.

Los Angeles gov. official visited by a.l.f

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

anonymous communique:

“1/13/2008

As the list of innocent animals dying in the city of Los Angeles’ animal “shelters” grows so does the list of people we will pay a visit to. People who are close to the mayor know of the abuse that is happening inside of LAAS and the same people have the ability to affect the changes that are needed to save the lives of placeable and adoptable kittens, puppies, as well as adult cats and dogs and other companion animals.

We’ve been stopping by to remind you of this.

This time two cars in the driveway (we think both BMWs. we aren’t sure it was dark and we move fast) at 123 N Arden in Los Angeles were doused with paint stripper. Robin Kramer, your job as chief to the mayor affords you the ability to push for LAAS to catch up with the times and transition to ‘no kill.’ Why are you not pushing?

To all of those who can push for this change, please start pushing. We don’t want to have to keep this up but we certainly will if need be.
