These are bands and friends of ours that we have met through touring and tabling their shows. These bands and groups are one of the main reasons we are out doing what we do. please support all of these bands. They are amazing people and have good things to say.

No one can deny that fake fashion posturing and lifeless clone music are on the verge of killing heavy music. Revolted by these trends, those who followed 108, even those who thought they had outgrown the genre, are responding to the band’s psychedelic noise infusion, brutal riffage, and incisive lyrics with enthusiasm and profound relief. Those who never experienced the band before have been given access to a band that changes their perception of what a punk band can be. 108 is shocking listeners back to consciousness and getting them thinking again, feeling again, and banging their heads in defiance at the near-death of heavy music with a message.

In nature, when any entity is cornered, be it by an aggressor, predator, or tyrant, in order to survive it will use whatever means are available to ensure its survival. It will fight back. In these times, when the world and all who exist upon it have indeed been cornered by those in power -- who care nothing for our protests, our dissenting voices, our passive resistance, our civil disobedience -- our only options are public education, community organizing, and direct action.

THIS is Anima Mundi.

Anti-Flag has always been a huge inspiration to me. they were one of the bands that got me into punk rock. without punk rock, I may not be here today. I thank anti flag for this. these guys walk the talk and I give them all the respect in the world. please check them out if you havent yet.

CHOKEHOLD'S mostly slow to mid-paced music is stripped-down, no-frills, yet ridiculously effective with me. It just has this raw pulse to it, and the way I see it, put the band on the crest of the new school wave (as if that really matters). This makes it that much more surprising that the music often turns into a backdrop for the lyrics. Many o' bands' lyrical trick bags are empty without veg[etari]anism and straightedge. Yet with this band, topical and lyrical diversity WAS the trick bag. From the Burning Bridges ep onward, singer/barker Chris Logan had this talent to condense complex political, social, and personal issues on to one well versed song sheet.

Dead Prez is comprised of emcees and activists M-1 and stic.man. Dead prez are known to the underground hip hop community as spokesmen for the abused and oppressed. The lyrical content ranges from police oppression and violence, veganism and the struggle for humyn liberation.

Dead To Me is an awesome punk rock band. they are one of the most genuine punk bands that I have ever met. they will rock your fucking face off and have fun doing it. One of the best live acts i have seen in a while. listen to dead to me. Go see dead to me. if you dont, you dont know what good music is.

Take the enraged socio-political perspective of TRIAL, the bloodthirsty sonic assault of TERROR and INTEGRITY, and top it off with the suicidal determination of BLACK FLAG. The end result is Texas's hardest working hardcore band DIE YOUNG (TX).

Gather played a brand of sincere hardcore that I haven't seen in almost a decade. Their radical politics, vegan straightedge lifestyle, and forward and open support of direct action for Total Liberation, laid over some great mid-1990s style crunchy metallic hardcore, send tingles down my spine every time I hear them.

Taking hardcore ethics to a whole new level, Germany's MAROON are quickly outplaying and outlasting their contemporaries around the globe. Formed in early 1998, the vegan, straightedge five-piece is clearly showing their dedication and no signs of slowing down.

Punk as fuck. acoustic folk/punk. His songs are driven with passions of love and liberation. check out mike xvx. Listen and smile. Raise your fist in solidarity.

It's Fucking MORRISSEY!

The band members are known for championing various anarchist causes. They have also taken an active stance against human rights violations, racism, homophobia, imperialism, fascism, capitalism and religion. The band supports vegan lifestyles and animal rights campaigns.

Posi attitude, pro feminist, Anti sexism, gay positive, fvck racism, anti sweatshop, 100% cruelty free, D.I.Y. san diego hardcore.

Holdin down the V in SF!

Refused drew heavily on the influence of the Washington, D.C. hardcore band, Nation of Ulysses, New York hardcore band Born Against, as well as the writings of Karl Marx, anarchist Errico Malatesta, and the Situationist International. The band were already well known for their vegan and straight edge stances. Refused broke up the same year as a result of expending all their creative energy and wanting different things.

Restrained is a an amazing pist off vegan band from the inland empire of California. displaying their views on political revolution, animal liberation, and disenchantment with the world that surrounds us. Through these channels comes a new wave of music. Music that is not made to be ignored, but to be consumed. Words not to be forgotten, but to be screamed until all injustice is erased. A band created to be the voice of the poor, the beaten, and the broken hearted. A band that speaks for the Restrained.

Rudimentary Peni was a band that lurked in the shadows of success of the British anarcho-punk movement. The band's lyrics alternate between witty macabre (written by Nick Blinko) and socio-political lyrics (written by Grant Matthews), and is currently one of the only bands from that movement that holds a fanatical fanbase to date. Lead singer/guitarist, Nick Blinko is popular in the Art Brut scene and wrote an autobiographical novel called The Primal Screamer, revered amongst his fans to be a literary masterpiece. Nick Blinko also played in the band The Magits, which formed before Rudimentary Peni in 1977 and was primarily electronic and inaccessible to most punk listeners.

7 generations formed and exists for the purpose of spreading revolutionary ideals through the underground hardcore and punk rock communities and to use our band as a vehicle for social and political change. We denounce with a feverish hatred the teachings of a patriarchal culture that thrives on anthropocentrism, sexism, racism, classism, nationalism and capitalism. We encourage all to become politically and socially aware and get involved in the struggles for animal liberation, humyn liberation and earth liberation.

Socialized Crucifixion is fucking angry punk rock that inspires you to challenge the status quo. The lyrics are in spirit of revolution of our dying world. When I think of todays punk rock i think of s.c and it gives me hope.

The purpose of Surrounded is to be a counterweight to the anthropocentric view our culture has of this world. The band's spreading the idea that this planet belongs to every being that's living on it and not one master civilization justifying it's dominionist belief either through religion or a selfish interpretation of evolution. They oppose every form of confinement and take a stand against wage-slavery, raising of livestock, animal testing, capitalism, consumerism, homophobia, gender roles based on what to buy and how to look and a lot of other issues related to this insane materialistic culture that values money and property over life.

To kill Proudly Advocates a cruelty free lifestyle and a straightedge philosophy, and is proud to be supported by peta for their fight for animal liberation. So, See you all on the road, don't forget to megarock it up!.

"The struggle is not over - it assumes new forms" These words are a vision which Trial relates to every day as a parallel of their own history. Since forming in 1994 the band has worked desperately to communicate their infusion of activism, emotion, anger and intensity in a world where people are more comfortable remaining sedate. Challenging that attitude, Trial has never given up, all the while fueled by a relentless desire to play hardcore music which is charged with political and personal fury.

This Time Tomorrow was formed in early 2005 by members of the Northwest's crust and hardcore scenes, with the intent of bringing outrage and action back into an apathetic musical community.
Feeling that the time had long past for their generation to once again take a firmer ethical stance, the band was motivated to create music that could be used as a vehicle for social change.
With lyrical emphasis on the themes of animal and environmental liberation, they have already begun to open the eyes of the hardcore community.

Undying always focused on our culture's impact upon the Earth, and the anthropological and cultural ecological foundations of our belief that it is humankind's destiny to subjugate the Earth to our will. Born into a culture which sees itself as the pinnacle of man's evolution, we spend every waking moment of our lives with the lies of our culture as a constant companion.

Armed with a DIY punk ethic not commonly found in the hardcore bands of today, VERSE clearly has a focus and a message that can light a fire in the eyes of even the most jaded hardcore punk veterans. The band tours as much as possible and wherever possible, with the hope of opening up the minds and the hearts of whoever will listen.
